Updates for Russia DST (Summer Time) in 2010- 5 regions are changing its Time Zones
Map of Time Zones of Russia till March 28, 2010
Prime Minister of Russia V. Putin signed a Government Decrees # 166, # 170 and # 171:
- "On the application in the territory of the Kamchatka region and the Chukotka
Autonomous District of time the tenth time zone"
- "On the application in the territory of Samara region second time zone"
- "On the application in the territory of the Udmurt Republic second time zone"
- and previous decree # 740 Government of Russia, September 14, 2009
"On the application in the territory of the Kemerovo region the fifth time zone."
When most of Russia will adopt DST this year on March 28, 2010,
Regions below will not change their clocks on March 28, 2010:
1. Kamchatka region (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy), will change current time zone
GMT+12, MSK+9 to current Magadan time zone ( GMT+11, MSK+8)
2. Chukotka region (Chukotskiy Avtonomnyy Okrug, Anadyr), will change current
time zone GMT+12, MSK+9 to current Magadan time zone ( GMT+11, MSK+8)
3. Udmurt Republic (Udmurtia, Izhevsk) will change time zone GMT+4, MSK+1 to
Moscow Time zone (GMT+3, MSK)
4. Samara oblast (Samara) will change time zone GMT+4, MSK+1 to Moscow Time
zone (GMT+3, MSK)
5. Kemerovo oblast' (Kemerovo) will change time zone GMT+7, MSK+4 to
Novosibirsk Time zone (GMT+6, MSK+3) (previous approval for Kemerovo region)
