Clocks revert to old time on Oct 1
The government has decided to restore Pakistan Standard Time by reversing the clocks by one hour from October 1, a private TV channel reported on Thursday.
According to the channel, a formal announcement would be made after the prime minister’s approval.
Clocks across the country were set forward by one hour at the onset of summer on the request of the Water and Power Ministry, a measure aimed at conserving energy, the channel added.
