Daylight Saving Order 2017
In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 3(1) of the Daylight Saving Act 1998, I hereby make this Order -
Short title
1. This Order may be cited as the Daylight Saving Order 2017.
Daylight saving period
2. I declare the consecutive days between 5 November 2017 until 14 January 2018 inclusive as the daylight saving period.
Daylight saving time
3. Subject to section 5 of the Daylight Saving Act 1998, the time for general purposes throughout the Republic of Fiji during the
daylight saving period is one hour in advance of the standard time commencing at 2.00 am on Sunday 5 November 2017 and ending at 3.00 am on Sunday 14 January 2018.
