Ipanema beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Beach Towels? - not in Rio de Janeiro. Towels are heavy and bulky to pack. Everyone uses the Brazilian Sarong or "Kanga" (pareo, sri, canga, surong), which is made of a lightweight material, is easy to wash in the sink, and dries quickly.
